DTES Small Arts Grants

Susan Lu receives 2 artists recipient of the 2019 DTES Small Arts Grants, Penny Lim and Claude Ranville who talked about their experience with the grant and the following showcase of their arts, during the Emerge Festival, in early June. Susan also receives artist Vivian Bomberry who received the grant 3 times in previous years. She gives us more information about the grant and how to apply.

A body positive play: The Most Massive Woman Wins

Molly Caron talks about the upcoming play, The Most Massive Woman Wins, with producer and
actor Cecilia Splendiferous and body-positive performance artist, Hilary Fillier. The play, by
Madeleine George, will run during the Vancouver Fringe Festival, at the Vancity Culture Lab,
from September 5 to 15.
